Everyday Phrases started on October something 2011. Dakota and Dalton were in many bands before but nothing had worked out for them. Dakota was hanging around Bryan for a little; and then Dakota brought it to Dalton's attention that Bryan could play guitar and sing. So Dalton bought a drum kit and the 3 started the band. And the way they found the band name was they were sitting around trying to think of band names. And Dakota said "try to just think of like common everyday phrases." Bryan and Dalton looked at each other while Dakota had no idea what was going on. And so the 3 decided that the band would be called "Everyday Phrases."

our firt show (before the show)
Daky here. and today we are having our first show everyone in the band is uber stoked and a little nervous but if we just have fun and go with it im sure it should be good we are heading to the club later today for some pre-show practice and then hanging with an awesome punk band called "Misunderstood" (they have a page on here)cant wait to play with them hopefully the house will be packed for us -Daky
