"Not much has come out of the Rockford scene over the years, minus one or two large acts placating to more reserved areas in the scene, but one band seems to be breaking the mold in big ways. Hailing from the very small, but still ever present hardcore scene in the northern Illinois section of the midwest, Rockford natives Valiant are continuing to grow; making their mark on the hardcore scene with vigilant intensity and an undying passion for their music. Consisting of 5 guys with a lot of heart and a lot of talent, Valiant has poured blood, sweat and tears into their band, continuing to make their already aggressive sound an even larger assault of high energy, heavy music. But Valiant doesn't just play to play, they still have a lot to say, with songs ranging from a wide variety of topics from the government to conspiracy theories and beyond.
