  • Day 3 of Recording.

Well today has just proved to me when I think my life couldn't get much worse it can. So to help you fell my pain here is some background info on me. I am into cars. I have customized quite a few have won a few car shows and have won many bass competitions..Beating people who spend double or triple what I do. Why? Not that i buy cheaper parts bnut because I build them myself with the help of some of my friends one in particular Mike Brennan. After moving I was kinda forced to sell my last car. a 91 Eclipse customized from top to bottom. Even though I poured my heart into it I wasn't sad to see it go. Because lingering in my side yard a dream of mine since I was little. A 95 240sx se. It had it all but because of a tree falling onto it my dreams of ever driving it were for future days. Today my Mom called me and informed me that her and my father took it to the junkyard and now my dreams of drifting all around my small town are crushed. I don't cry over much but I sobbed for quite sometime over this. I worked hard saved for a year just to buy it. But anyways moving on to recording. Today was successful. I tracked yet another song fully and have sent it to a good friend Bryce Demise to actually track the screams and growls. Once they are done I might be uploading it for free Download. The Album I decided will be put on Itunes for $5.00 and $0.99 per song. The EP will feature 6 songs. Tomorrow I may do a small update video for everyone so make sure to keep your eyes open for that! Thanks everyone for your support Hopefully this record will show all of you something new and different. Love, DjToukilla

  • Day 2 of Recording.

So today started off as one of those days you just don't want to wake up. One of those days that when your normal routine is flipped turned upside down and unlike will smith it's not about bel-air. No today was one of those days you wake up and find out you are negative 140$ in your checking account you have an extra 150$ in rent due because somehow your check is missing and well you just didn't get enough sleep. After a few hours of talking on the phone, driving all across Denver and finally trying to find a blasted parking spot in this concrete jungle massacre of horrid drivers, I sat down to begin re-tracking some small problem areas. After a long night of wondering how to fix the problems I encountered and a few cups of tea I actually managed to do something right for once. Not to mention I also Began doing the vocal tracking for the second song off the new album. Which appears to have no name other then "summer EP". Today actually turned out to be a somewhat "ok" day even with a balance of 40$ in my checking account. I may be poor but I am damn proud to be making right on my own and still having the time to produce my own album. Maybe it won't have as great of production value as some bigger or richer artist. But what its lacking in quality it will make up for in Heart and hard work and if anyone fails to see that then they don't deserve to call themselves a music enthusiast. So wish me luck Loves tomorrow is looking like it might be very productive!!!

  • Day 1 of Recording....

As of today I started the recording process for my upcoming E.P. In the comfort of my own home. So let me fill you in on some of the equipment I use… Microphone: MXL 990 with Shock mount and double pop filter. Programs: FL Studios 9 with Antares Auto-Tune. Monitors: KRK Rokit G2 6” powered monitors with larger rubber pads underneath for less vibration Headphones: Really nice Sony ones i picked up for $100.00 So far I have tracked and mixed most of the vocals for the first song Sink’n. Although running into a few small problems I managed to work through most of them aside from a melody / timing problem in the chorus. I took most of the day to practice the timing and tomorrow i feel confident that I can begin re- tracking the missing pieces. I’m really excited to get all the tracks finished. But I feel like this record is gonna push everything I have out of me. I just hope I can keep it all together and make this CD sound as good as I know I can make it. Also if you are interested in being in one of my songs for a guest vocal spot, Please contact me directly on any of my Social media sites. Thank you everyone for your support. P.S. Shirts are going fast so make sure to check them out while they last!

  • Chicagaga Suwkz.

After a good two week vacation back home seeing Family and friends I so dearly missed me and the one and Only Kelsey Brady started our trip Back to the Mile High City. We made maps looked over directions made plans and reserved a room in the Windy City also known as Chicago. The trip was over 700 miles, with a car jammed packed with more shit then a liars toilet. After Driving for 10 hours the last thing I want to encounter is traffic... It's 9:00 Where the FUCK do these people need to be so bad? That's all I have to ask. They honk. They Yell. They swerve and swap and smack and crash and blow their motors out. For what? An extra 15 minutes at home. From the way these people acted in a bagel place I wouldn't want to spend 10 seconds with them let alone 15 minutes. They say it's the Windy City I say change it to "Central America's Long Island alternative". I haven't seen that much North Face since I visited NYC Last year. But Who am I to pass judgment...so lets move on to IOWA! I love Potatoes and now I love Iowa. Why you ask? Well when you go to a store and purchase two shirts. You expect to pay for both. At $13.99 a piece you get out $30.00 to pay for both. The lady says $14.59. You think to yourself ok? But you go along with it. As soon as you get the receipt you see that only one shirt is on their, but she scanned both? So did she just not know the math? Was she high? Or just not care? Either way today we made Charlie Sheen look like he's losing with the way we Won.
