King Carousel

King Carousel is a four-piece Indie Band from Hobart, Australia. The band formed in late 2010 and shortly after recorded its debut album which was released in July 2011 as a free hardcopy and as a digital download. Most of the band's music (particularly the first album) is described as eclectic indie pop, filled with layers upon layers of instrumentation and vocal harmonies, however, the bands more recent material has branched out into areas such as dream pop, progressive punk, art rock, ambient, industrial rock, and includes the use of far more electronic instrumentation. The band is set to release its second LP in 2012 and is currently working on material for that release and playing live shows throughout Tasmania and Mainland Australia.
