About

Defex started originaly with just Pearse(drummer) and Adam(guitar/vocalis). They started first as two friends just jamming out covers and wasnt until October 2009 when Robin(bassist) was introduced by friends of Pearse and Adam. They gave Robin a chance of trying out for the band and was until his first practice with the lads that it was decided that he was a perfect fit for the band. Defex continued as a 3 piece pop punk band where they did a variety of gigs around their local areas. After the success of their build up in music and gig wise that it was decided that Defex was to progress their sound to pop punk/posthardcore.
