Rhinoceros Beetle takes you on a geeky ride with electronics, bold vocals, and custom beats that keep the energy high and the music danceable. Rhinoceros Beetle (RB) is an American electronic indie band, formed by members Jules ffern and v3G, in 2010. The group spent the year, immersed in the studio writing, composing, programming, recording, and practicing. RB’s original programming carves out their distinctive style using digital sound environments, powerful vocal expressions, layered electronic compositions and danceable beats. Their common interest in technology, science, nature, art, music and abstract philosophies laid the groundwork for their creative projects. v3G and Jules ffern grew up in the same small Indiana town and played music throughout their childhoods. During their late high school years a mutual friend suggested they meet and jam together. The jamming turned into a five-year experimental blast performing with local best friends/musicians in multiple bands.

Spending several sleepless fortnights to craft an organic electronic music experience, Rhino Beetle will placate your minds with magickal beatz and legendary synth; not to mention vocals only a cobra could spit out. Their new demo, Horse Pact EP, was manifested from the 8-bit storage drives found in their brains.

Horse Pact EP
December 10, 2010, Rhino Beetle released their first CD titled Horse Pact EP and on January 9, 2011, they introduced their live set to the JB Warehouse in Valparaiso, Indiana. Rhinoceros Beetle is currently working on new songs and is eager to build up an active performance schedule.
