"In 1998 a kick ass punk rock band were improved by a gig they didn't commit, the band promptly escaped into the Northampton underground, still demanded by the non conformists, they survive as musicians of conscience, if you have a concert, and everyone else is booked, and if you can find them, then maybe you can hear The Mispelt...." They have been variously described as sounding like the bastard child of the Ramones and Motorhead or a baseball bat around the head. From the opening slash of confident guitar to the final burst Mispelt deliver nothing less than massive slabs of metal reinforced punk rock that blasts the musical landscape into something entirely their own
