Bradford, Pennsylvania's Skylime formed in November 2009 when guitarist/vocalist, Richie Colosimo and lead vocalist, Rich Bisker came together with the intention of writing extremely catchy, yet heavy, music. They enlisted bassist Bradley Osborne, drummer Eric Crouse, and after getting a few songs written they picked up Brian Thompson on guitar to fill in the gaps and tie the music together. Taking today's hardcore music and adding lighter powerpop/alternative rock sensibilities, Skylime brings something new to the table in the Western Pennsylvania scene. In addition, Skylime is gaining a large web presence, with Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Tumblr, ReverbNation, DailyBooth, and Youtube pages which the band uses to promote shows, interact with fans, post pictures, videos, and updates. Also, the band self-recorded, produced, mixed and mastered a three song demo in May 2010. Skylime plans to enter DWS Studios in Niagara Falls, NY in January 2011 to record their debut EP, with plans to release it soon thereafter.
